LACOSTA Therapy LLC in Pembroke Pines seeks a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide one-on-one ABA-based interventions under BCBA supervision. The role involves traveling to home, school, clinic, or community settings to support individuals with ASD and developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities include implementing Behavior Plans, collecting data, promoting communication and daily living skills, and collaborating with families and teachers while adhering to BACB guidelines and HIPAA

Formación

• Active RBT certification from the BACB.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with children or ASD/developmental disabilities preferred.
• Background check and CPR certification required.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsabilidades

• Implement Behavior Plans: Follow treatment plans designed by the BCBA to help clients develop skills and manage behaviors.
• Direct Client Interaction: Work one-on-one with clients in home, school, clinic, or community settings.
• Data Collection: Timely and accurately record and track progress based on behavioral data.
• Skill Development: Help clients improve in communication, social skills, daily living skills, and academics.
• Crisis Management: Use de-escalation techniques to handle challenging behaviors safely.
• Parent & Caregiver Training: Assist families by providing strategies to reinforce skills outside of sessions.
• Collaboration: Communicate with BCBAs, teachers, therapists, and families to ensure consistent implementation of interventions.
• Ethical Compliance: Follow BACB guidelines, HIPAA regulations, and company policies on ethical compliance.
