Job summary

Ability-Builders-Consulting-Co. in Florida seeks a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide 1:1 ABA services in home, school, or clinic settings. This role offers hands-on experience and supervision from experienced BCBAs.

Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, recording data, communicating progress to families, and maintaining a safe, confidential therapy environment. RBT certification not required to hire; prior experience with children is preferred.

Qualifications

• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (Not required to get hired)
• Minimum 1-year experience working with children

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA services to clients in home, community or clinic setting
• Establish and maintain therapeutic relationship with clients and families
• Implement treatment plans as outlined by the BCBA
• Record data for all goals during ABA sessions
• Effectively communicate progress with parents in writing and verbally
• Utilize de-escalation techniques for novel behaviors
• Attend trainings to maintain and acquire knowledge
• Adhere to BACB ethical standards
• Assist BCBA with assessment and reassessment procedures
• Maintain a safe and organized therapy environment
• Maintain client confidentiality
• Take part in weekly team meetings with the family and BCBA
