Job summary

Connect ABA + Therapy in New Jersey seeks a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to deliver ABA services under BCBA supervision. You will implement BIPs, provide one-on-one instruction, and help clients develop functional skills in homes, schools, and other settings.

You will collect data, track progress, and collaborate with the BCBA and team to adjust plans while maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to accurately follow instructions, implement behavior plans, and collect detailed data.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) created by the BCBA to address each client’s specific needs and objectives.
• Deliver one-on-one direct instruction to clients using ABA methods such as discrete trial training (DTT), naturalistic teaching, and behavior management strategies.
• Collect and record data on client behavior and progress using designated methods and tools.
• Support clients in developing and practicing functional skills across areas like communication, socialization, self-care, and independent living.
• Cultivate a positive, engaging learning environment that promotes independence and motivation.
• Work with the BCBA and interdisciplinary team to assess client progress, adjust plans, and maintain consistency across settings.
• Maintain open communication with clients, families, and team members, sharing relevant updates and progress reports.
• Take part in continuous training and development to further enhance ABA skills and knowledge.
