Qualifications

• BA/BS degree with 4+ years of relevant experience
• DoD Secret clearance with ability to upgrade to TS
• DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II certification (e.g. Security+ CE, CISSP-ISS, GSEC)
• Network vendor certification (CCNA/CCNP) or higher

Responsibilities

• Works as an operations-focused Network Engineer on BAN/LAN/WAN network operations.
• Provides COMSEC local element support and manages assets and keys.
• Documents work activities and maintains site documentation.
• Performs upgrades and changes to the NGEN-R system and infrastructure.
• Monitors network health and proactively identify issues and apply fixes.
• Coordinates upgrades and maintenance with program and stakeholders.
• Travel up to 25% including potential OCONUS travel.
• Supports cybersecurity requirements and security controls.
