Job summary

Sealed Air designs and delivers packaging solutions with a focus on automation and customer partnerships. The Automation TSR installs, maintains, and repairs equipment at client sites to ensure reliable operation and uptime.

You'll diagnose issues, perform preventative maintenance, and train customers on best practices. Travel to regional sites is required to support customers and drive service excellence.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 3-4 years in a similar technical role.
• Experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining automated packaging systems.
• Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical and PLC/control systems.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics for troubleshooting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in customer interactions.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and integrate automated packaging systems at customer locations.
• Perform preventative and emergency maintenance to ensure system performance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions both remotely and on-site.
• Calibrate and adjust machinery settings for quality and efficiency.
• Provide technical guidance and training to customers on operation and maintenance.
• Collaborate with leadership, engineering, and support teams on improvements.
• Document service activities, schedules, repairs, and parts used.
• Identify opportunities for upselling service and maintenance agreements.
