Job summary

Daifuku Automotive America Corporation seeks a Technical Service and Site Engineer I to install, troubleshoot, and maintain our automotive automation systems across the US. You will diagnose electrical, electronic, and mechanical issues and order parts as needed.

This hands-on role requires travel to job sites in the US, Canada, or Mexico, flexibility for weekends and overtime, and collaboration with installation teams to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• BS technical degree in electrical, mechanical or automation engineering, or equivalent.
• Zero to three years’ experience in material handling and conveyor engineering for the automotive industry is desirable.
• Zero to three years’ experience in a construction or manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain automation equipment.
• Perform electrical, electronic, and mechanical repairs; identify and repair product failures; order and replace parts.
• Lead and direct work of others; expect creativity and initiative on projects.
