Job summary

Daifuku Automotive America Corporation in Canton, MS is seeking a Technical Service Engineer II to install, troubleshoot, and maintain our material handling systems across North America.

The role requires hands-on experience with electrical, electronic, and mechanical repairs, plus training customers and employees. Travel to job sites in the US, Canada, or Mexico may be necessary, including weekends and overtime, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• BS technical degree in electrical, mechanical or automation engineering, or equivalent.
• Two to five years' experience in material handling and conveyor engineering desirable.
• Two to Five years' experience in a construction or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interface effectively with customers and peers.
• Debugging skills during commissioning of new equipment and/or modifications to existing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain equipment.
• Train employees and customers.
• Perform electrical, electronic, and mechanical repairs.
• Estimate medium-sized projects up to $3M.
• Interface with design team and on-site installation crews to resolve issues.
• Supervise other associates and skilled trades.
• Travel to job sites within the US, Canada, or Mexico; weekends/nights/overtime as needed.
