Job summary

Daifuku Automotive America Corporation in Reynoldsburg, OH is seeking a Technical Service Engineer I to install, troubleshoot, and maintain our automation equipment used in automotive facilities. You will perform electrical, electronic, and mechanical repairs, diagnose issues, and order replacement parts as needed.

The role requires travel to job sites across the US, Canada, or Mexico, weekend/night overtime as required, and a BS in engineering with up to three years of related experience.

Qualifications

• BS degree or equivalent in engineering.
• Zero to three years experience in material handling or conveyor engineering.
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain products and equipment.
• Perform electrical, electronic, and mechanical repairs.
• Identify, analyze, and repair product failures.
• Order and replace parts as needed.
• Assist in determining best-fit products or services for customers.
• Observe equipment operation and perform test cycles.
• Complete preventive maintenance per procedures.
• Travel to job sites within the US, Canada, or Mexico.
