Job summary

Daifuku Automotive America Corporation is seeking a Technical Service and Site Engineer I to install, troubleshoot, and maintain automotive automation systems nationwide. You will perform electrical, electronic, and mechanical repairs, analyze failures, and order parts as needed.

You will interpret drawings and support on-site installation teams across the US, Canada, or Mexico. The role requires PLC programming capability, strong communication, and the ability to work with customers and

Qualifications

BS technical degree in electrical, mechanical or automation engineering or equivalent.
Zero to three years’ experience in material handling/conveyor engineering desirable.
Strong PLC programming skills in a hands-on field construction environment preferred.
Excellent communication and ability to interface with customers and peers.
Willingness to travel to US, Canada, or Mexico as required.

Responsibilities

Install, troubleshoot and maintain equipment; perform electrical, electronic and mechanical repairs.
Identify, analyze and repair product failures; order and replace parts as needed.
Determine products or services that best fit customer needs.
Interpret engineering drawings and assist on-site installation teams.
Create bid documents and facilitate meetings with subcontractors on small projects.
