Job summary
Daifuku Intralogistics America Corporation is seeking an Automation Field Service Engineer to assist in commissioning, startup and optimization of AS/RS systems. You will work with cranes, shuttles, PLCs, and embedded controllers, traveling extensively across North America.
Responsibilities include final wiring, hardware verification, and field startup per project specs; you will document test results, participate in safety practices, and contribute to continuous improvement of installation
Qualifications
- Associate degree or technical diploma in Industrial Automation or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years in a similar role.
- Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs is preferred.
- Strong wiring, hardware verification, and field startup skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform final wiring terminations on cranes and shuttle equipment post installation.
- Carry out hardware verification and I/O checks in the field.
- Configure cranes, vertical lifts and shuttles per project specs.
- Prepare test protocols and document 'as-built' conditions.
