Job summary

Daifuku Automotive America Corporation seeks a Technical Service and Site Engineer II to install, troubleshoot, and maintain automation and material handling equipment at customer sites. You will train customers and employees, perform electrical/mechanical repairs, and estimate mid-sized projects up to $3M.

The role requires traveling to job sites across the US, Canada, or Mexico as needed. Ideal candidates have PLC programming skills, strong communication, and the ability to interface with

Qualifications

• BS degree in electrical, mechanical or automation engineering or equivalent.
• Two to five years of experience in material handling/conveyor engineering desirable.
• Construction or manufacturing environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain equipment; train employees and customers.
• Perform electrical, electronic, and mechanical repairs; order and replace parts as needed.
• Estimate medium-sized projects and assist with bids up to $3M.
• Interpret engineering drawings and support site installation crews.
• Interface with on-site project teams and resolve on-site issues.
• Supervise other associates or skilled trades when required.
