Job summary

Progressive is seeking an experienced Auto Damage Claims Adjuster to be the primary contact for customers, directing repair decisions from start to finish. You will manage your own field inventory and collaborate with body shops, negotiating pricing and assessing liability with strong customer service focus.

This field role includes a company car and routine driving within your designated geographic area. Occasional office reporting may be required, with workload shared across the team to cover

Qualifications

• Four years of relevant work experience with one year in appraisal/estimatics or insurance.
• Optionally an AA degree with three years experience, or a Bachelor's with one year experience.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance compliance with Progressive standards.
• Estimating experience and/or an insurance background is required.

Responsibilities

• Complete vehicle inspections and write estimates with timelines.
• Negotiate repair process with body shops and set expectations.
• Document claim information and ensure compliance with standards and laws.
• Evaluate claim payments and resolve claims without payments as needed.
• Review supplement requests for validity.
