Progressive is seeking an experienced auto damage claims adjuster to be the primary contact for customers, guiding repairs from start to finish. You will manage your own inventory, collaborate with body shops, and negotiate pricing while ensuring compliance with claims standards.

This field role includes a company car and occasional office visits, with potential for assignments outside your core area. A strong focus on customer service, leadership, and attention to detail is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience with 1 year appraisal/estimatics or insurance experience.
• OR Associate's degree and 3+ years relevant experience with 1 year appraisal/estimatics or insurance experience.
• OR Bachelor's degree and 1 year appraisal/estimatics or insurance experience.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and compliance with Progressive driving standards.

Responsibilities

• Complete vehicle inspections, write estimates, determine total loss evaluations, and set clear expectations and timelines.
• Negotiate repair process with body shops.
• Document information related to the claim and make decisions consistent with claims standards and local laws.
• Evaluate and handle claim payments and resolution of claims without payments.
• Review and determine validity of any supplement requests.
