Job summary

Progressive is seeking an auto damage claims adjuster to serve as the point of contact with customers, guiding the repair process from start to finish. You will manage your own inventory, work independently, and collaborate with body shops to negotiate pricing while assessing liability.

This field role includes access to a company car and periodic travel within the assigned area; occasional office reporting may be required.

Qualifications

• Four years of relevant work experience in insurance with at least one year in appraisal/estimatics or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete vehicle inspections and write estimates.
• Negotiate repair process with body shops.
• Document claim information and make decisions in line with standards and laws.
• Evaluate and handle claim payments and resolution of claims without payments.
• Review and determine validity of any supplement requests.
