Job summary

Auto Club Enterprises is seeking an Auto Physical Damage Appraiser to join our field operations. You will inspect vehicles, develop and review damage estimates, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards while communicating clearly with insureds, owners, and repair facilities.

The role requires experience in auto repair, strong judgment, and the ability to work independently with discretion. Catastrophe duties may be assigned as needed, with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Advanced understanding of automotive repair processes and damage assessment.
• Ability to accurately estimate repair costs and understand estimating software.
• Excellent organization and planning skills required.
• Strong oral and written communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle inspections to create accurate, compliant repair estimates.
• Explain claim and repair processes to insureds, claimants, and shops.
• Document estimates with photos and detailed notes in case files.
• Negotiate within authority to resolve claims and disputes.
