Auto Club Enterprises seeks a Field Auto Physical Damage Appraiser to provide thorough vehicle damage assessments and write compliant repair estimates for insurance policies.

The role involves communicating with insureds, claimants and facilities, documenting estimates with photos and notes, and negotiating settlements within authority. A license and repair knowledge are required, with Catastrophe duties possible.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors or Equivalent combination of education and experience Preferred.
• 4-6 years Claims experience Preferred.
• Advanced understanding of automotive repair processes, vehicle systems and damage assessment; ability to estimate repair costs and use estimation software.

Responsibilities

• Utilize physical inspections to complete accurate estimates for vehicle repair compliant with guidelines, standards and laws.
• Communicate with insureds, claimants, repair facilities and staff about claim and repair processes within regulatory requirements.
• Provide clear documentation of estimated damage with photos and descriptions in claim files.
• Negotiate within settlement authority to resolve claims and disputes over repair costs or coverage.
• Coordinate with internal departments and respond quickly to customer needs and inquiries.
