Job summary

AAA Auto Club Enterprises in Arcadia, CA, seeks an experienced Auto Physical Damage claims professional to handle material damage claims under regulatory guidelines. You will analyze vehicle damage, write estimates, review and validate costs, and communicate with insureds, body shops, and claim staff.

The role requires negotiating within authority, preparing documentation, and assisting with catastrophe duties when needed.

Qualifications

• Associates or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Vocational equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Bachelors equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• 4-6 years claims experience preferred.
• 4-6 years estimating experience preferred.
• Advanced understanding of automotive repair processes and damage assessment.

Responsibilities

• Utilize physical inspections to complete accurate and thorough estimates for vehicle repair.
• Communicate with insureds, claimants, repair facilities, and internal staff about claim and repair processes.
• Provide clear documentation to support estimated damage with photos and descriptions.
• Negotiate within settlement authority to resolve claims.
• Coordinate with internal departments to respond to customer needs.
