Job summary

Progressive is seeking a field Auto Damage Claims Adjuster to manage the claims process from assessment to settlement. This role requires independent work, travel within the assigned geographic area, and occasional office reporting. The candidate should have strong organizational skills and customer service aptitude.

Location: Fresno, Visalia, or Tulare, CA. Compensation includes a base hourly wage with incentive opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum education is High School/GED.

Responsibilities

• Complete vehicle inspections, write estimates, determine total loss evaluations, and set clear expectations and timelines.
• Negotiate repair process with body shops.
• Document information related to the claim and make decisions consistent with claims standards and local laws.
• Evaluate and handle claim payments and resolution of claims without payments.
• Review and determine validity of any supplement requests.
