Job summary

Richelieu is seeking an Architecture & Design Specification Representative to engage with architects and designers in the sales area. Travel is a regular part of the role, with in-person and virtual meetings to drive project specs and relationships.

You will gather specifications for decorative hardware, lighting, and premium panels, while staying current on Richelieu's offerings and market conditions. CRM fluency and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience working with architects and designers preferred or design degree.
• Ability to manage time and deliver results in a field-based role.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with CRM fluency.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications for daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and nurture relationships with architects and designers.
• Schedule in-person and virtual meetings with clients to discuss projects.
• Gather and secure specifications across hardware, lighting, and panels.
• Analyze past specification patterns to expand accounts.
• Provide product education to the A&D community.
• Deliver an exceptional customer service experience as the single source.
• Stay updated on Richelieu products and market conditions.
• Utilize CRM and sales support tools effectively.
• Travel locally; visit customers three to four days per week with own vehicle.
• Position occasionally requires lifting up to 50 pounds.
