Job summary

Stantec is seeking Archaeological staff to join our Cultural Resources Team in the United States. You will support field directors and project managers with pre-field planning, cultural surveys, and monitoring across multiple western offices.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology or Archaeology, 1 year CRM experience, ability to travel up to 2 weeks, and strong field skills. We value safety, collaboration, and experience with Native American groups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology or Archaeology.
• 1 year minimum of CRM experience.
• Experience with both small and large archaeological crews.

Responsibilities

• Directly support archaeological field directors and project managers by assisting with pre-field planning, cultural surveys, and monitoring
• Exhibit good field skills and can work independently and as part of a crew
• Participate in identifying and recording areas of archaeological potential, archaeological sites, and traditional use sites
• Collect appropriate field data
• Support construction planning
