Job summary

USP Technologies is seeking an Applications Specialist to serve on-site at customer facilities, delivering value through sampling, data analysis and logistics planning. You will translate field data into actionable recommendations and maintain strong relationships with plant operators and management.

The role requires hands-on experience with sampling/analysis, chemical feed equipment, and compliance with DOT/HazMat and OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Engineering or related technical degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 2–5 years of customer-facing water/wastewater treatment, industrial chemical service or equivalent experience; hands-on sampling/analysis and chemical feed equipment experience strongly preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record required; wastewater operator certification, 40-hour HAZWOPER or DOT HazMat training a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver USP value through wastewater sampling and analysis, chemical logistics planning and minor maintenance of chemical feed and monitoring equipment.
• Build trusted relationships with plant operators and management, communicating program status and recommendations clearly to customers.
• Coordinate deliveries, ensure safety, proper labeling, SDS availability and regulatory compliance.
