Job summary

USP Technologies is seeking an Applications Specialist to be the on-site technical representative for assigned customer accounts. You will perform wastewater sampling and on-site analyses, coordinate chemical logistics, and conduct routine maintenance of chemical feed and monitoring equipment at customer facilities.

This role requires strong communication with plant operators and cross-functional teams, travel to sites, and strict adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• S. in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Engineering or related technical degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 2–5 years of customer-facing water/wastewater treatment, industrial chemical service or equivalent experience; hands-on sampling/analysis and chemical feed equipment experience preferred.
• Travel may be frequent depending on assigned account base; DOT HazMat or 40-hour HAZWOPER training a plus.
• Routine exposure to hazardous chemicals and untreated wastewater; PPE required.

Responsibilities

• Wastewater sampling and analysis on-site at customer facilities.
• Chemical logistics planning and oversight to forecast usage and schedule deliveries.
• Minor maintenance of chemical feed systems, pumps, tubing, sensors and metering devices.
• Customer interface and account coordination with plant operators and environmental staff.
