Job summary

Roche is seeking a Field Applications Specialist to join the Support Network in the Omaha, NE area. You will be the primary scientific and technical representative for Roche systems in customer laboratories, delivering on-site installation, training, and troubleshooting across the product life cycle.

Travel up to 50% within the territory with a company car provided. You will build strong customer relationships, support pre-sales activities, and help optimize workflows and assays for Roche’s

Qualifications

• 3 years of clinical laboratory experience (including internships or college).
• Experience with diagnostic instruments or IT in a clinical setting is preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, training, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site support for Roche diagnostic systems and assays in customer labs.
• Install instruments and software; validate performance per manufacturer specs.
• Deliver on-site operator training and interpret data/results.
• Resolve complex technical issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with sales and support teams to optimize solutions.
