Job summary

Roche is seeking a Field Applications Specialist in Omaha, NE to be the primary scientific and technical representative for Roche systems in customer laboratories. You will provide on-site support, including installation, training, and troubleshooting across the product life cycle.

The role requires a BS in Biology or a related field and about 3 years of lab or IT experience in a clinical environment; travel up to 50% with a company car provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in a clinical laboratory or IT in a clinical lab environment.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and operate as a field-based specialist.

Responsibilities

• Install and validate complex diagnostic instruments and software at customer labs.
• Provide on-site training and assist with product upgrades and changes.
• Troubleshoot instrumentation, software and assay performance; perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with Roche teams and customers to optimize workflows and data interpretation.
