Job summary

Roche is seeking a Field Applications Specialist to join the Southwest region, primarily supporting Albuquerque, NM. You will be the on-site scientific and technical expert, providing installation, training, troubleshooting, and workflow optimization for Roche diagnostic systems.

The role requires a biology/chemistry/clinical lab background with 3 years of relevant experience. It is a field-based position with 50% travel and a company car provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a life sciences field.
• 3 years of clinical laboratory or IT experience in a clinical lab environment.
• Preferred qualifications include Medical Laboratory Technologist/Scientist (ASCP/AMT) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site support in the Southwest region, primarily Albuquerque, NM.
• Install, validate and optimize Roche diagnostic instruments and reagents.
• Deliver on-site training on instrument operation, workflow, QC, and data interpretation.
• Troubleshoot complex instrument, software and assay issues; perform root cause analysis.
