Job summary

Waters is seeking a Field Applications Specialist ScM for the West region. You will work with regional leadership to install instruments, train users, provide technical and customer support, and help optimize single cell workflows across multiple states including ID.

A strong background in genomics and single cell analysis is required. You’ll travel up to 60% in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality scientific support and advancing BD scM product

Qualifications

• Minimum BA/BS in life sciences required.
• Minimum 3 years’ hands-on single cell analysis, genomics/proteomics/NGS.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in internal or field scientific customer support.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with regional directors and field teams to meet US region goals.
• Execute support strategy: instrument installation, training, and pre-/post-sales activities.
• Stay current with single cell analysis techniques and BD scM products.
• Maintain customer communication to ensure high satisfaction and feedback-driven improvements.
• Travel up to 60% and comply with BD auto safety standards.
