Job summary

Alamar Biosciences in the United States is seeking a Field Application Scientist to support discovery and implementation of biomarkers using our automated proteomics platform. This hands-on role involves training customers, guiding product development, and collaborating with sales, marketing and R&D to drive North American growth.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Application Support, you will manage technical support cases, create training materials, deliver conference and webinar

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in molecular biology with biomarker discovery experience.
• 2+ years in customer support, technical/applications in proteomics/NGS.
• Immunoassay development experience preferred.
• Residence near a major metro area (San Diego/LA/Las Vegas/Phoenix).

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary technical and scientific contact for territory customers.
• Provide remote and in-lab product training and evaluations.
• Manage support cases and escalations with timely resolutions.
• Contribute to knowledgebase and processes to scale support.
• Apply biomarker discovery expertise to guide product positioning.
• Collaborate with R&D during product development cycles.
• Create customer training materials and documentation.
• Assist with CRM/ERP integration and marketing automation.
• Deliver scientific presentations at conferences and webinars.
• Engage with KOLs in coordination with sales/marketing/R&D.
• Track customer complaints in CRM and gather Voice of Customer insights.
