Job summary

Bruker is seeking a Field Application Scientist to support the North American commercial team. The role focuses on proteomics, LC–MS workflows, and advanced mass spectrometry-based Applications for academic and industry customers.

The successful candidate will travel up to 40% across North America, provide scientific leadership, and collaborate with Sales, Product Management, and R&D to accelerate technology adoption and workflow development.

Qualifications

• PhD or MS with strong proteomics focus and mass spectrometry expertise.
• Hands-on experience designing and optimizing LC–MS/MS proteomics workflows.
• Solid understanding of proteomics sample prep and LC–MS instrumentation.
• Excellent communication and ability to convey complex science to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Educate and consult customers on workflows, experimental design, and data interpretation.
• Troubleshoot workflow challenges and share best practices for project success.
• Deliver trainings and product demonstrations to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and R&D to support product launches and field needs.
• Represent customer voice to help drive product improvements and new applications.
