Job summary

Alamar Biosciences, Inc. is seeking a Field Application Scientist to drive technical and scientific support for its automated proteomics instrument system across North America. You will train customers, manage support cases, and collaborate with R&D, sales, and marketing to position our biomarker discovery platforms.

The role emphasizes hands-on instrument support, content development, and voice-of-customer inputs for product improvements in a rapidly growing company.

Qualifications

MS or PhD in molecular biology or related area with experience in biomarker discovery.
At least 2 years of progressively responsible experience in customer support, especially technical/applications support in proteomics/NGS.
Experience in immunoassay development preferred.
Residence near a major metro area within the territory (San Diego/LA/Las Vegas/Phoenix preferred).
Strong problem-solving, process improvement mindset and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

Be the primary contact for technical and scientific support for territory customers.
Conduct remote and in-lab product training and evaluations for customers.
Manage technical support cases and escalations with timely resolutions.
Contribute to building the technical knowledgebase and scalable support processes.
Apply expertise in biomarker discovery to guide our proteomics platform development.
