Job summary

Molecular Devices, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Field Applications Scientist to support automated cell culture and complex biology platforms. You will perform live demonstrations, customer trainings, and troubleshooting while traveling regionally.

Responsibilities include enabling customers across North America, supporting pre-sales activities, and driving adoption of advanced biology solutions in academia, biotech, pharma, and government sectors.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with laboratory automation
• Experience with 3D biology (organoids, spheroids, tumoroids) preferred
• Advanced degree in Biological Sciences or equivalent discipline required

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sales and post-sales application support for automated cell culture and biology platforms
• Conduct live demonstrations and customer trainings
• Troubleshoot technical issues and optimize customer workflows
• Travel up to 75% and cover Northeast and Mid-Atlantic from home office (Greater Boston area)
