Job summary

F. Hoffmann-La Roche AG is seeking a Field Applications Specialist for the Core Lab in the Denver area. You will be the primary scientific and technical resource across Colorado, Wyoming and eastern Montana, supporting Roche systems from installation to training and troubleshooting.

The role requires a biology/clinical lab background, 3 years in a clinical lab or IT setting, and strong communication skills. Expect 70% travel with a company car provided and remote field-based work.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or related field; 3+ years in clinical lab or IT in a clinical lab environment
Experience with clinical chemistry and immunoassay preferred
Strong communication, coaching, and project/stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

Provide on-site scientific and technical support for Roche Core Lab systems across CO, WY, and eastern MT
Install, validate, and troubleshoot diagnostic instruments and software
Deliver on-site training and ensure instrument uptime and proper data interpretation
Collaborate with sales and support teams to optimize lab workflows and automation
