Job summary

ESAB Corporation is seeking a Technical Application Engineer, Robotics to work in field-based roles across integrators and end customers. The role involves on-site installations, remote support, and field service to ensure ESAB robotic welding systems operate reliably.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent hands-on experience.
Minimum 3 years in a technical field role involving robotic systems, welding equipment, or industrial automation.
Working knowledge of welding processes (GMAW, GTAW) and robotics programming.
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
Clear communicator; able to work with technical teams and customers.
Valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

Act as technical contact for system integrators through sales, installation, and commissioning.
Provide guidance on product selection, system configuration, and application setup.
Review designs for ESAB standards and customer requirements.
Support integrators during demonstrations, FATs, and SATs.
Deliver technical training to integrator teams on ESAB robotic welding systems.
Perform on-site and remote troubleshooting to resolve issues.
