Job summary

Flowserve is seeking an Application Engineer to support design, manufacturing, installation and operation of centrifugal and liquid ring vacuum pumps and mechanical seals at customer sites in the oil and chemical industries. The AE will troubleshoot on-site, assist with repairs or replacements, and coordinate with sales, reliability, service, and manufacturing teams.

The role involves real-time technical support, reporting, and conducting training as needed, including travel to customer

Responsibilities

• Communicate customer needs to Flowserve and be the primary information source on design, installation and maintenance of our pumps and seals.
• Troubleshoot problems at customer sites and at the Flowserve Repair Center in Detroit, MI.
• Provide recommendations for repairs, upgrades, or replacement equipment based on data analysis.
• Present technical explanations tailored to audience; support installation and operation of products.
• Maintain data in engineering systems and support training of customers as needed.
