Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• 5+ years in technical field, applications engineering, or hands‑on engineering.
• Experience in oil & gas, mining, power generation, heavy industrial environments.
• Familiarity with Modbus, 4–20mA, Relay logic, and other industrial protocols.
• Understanding hazardous locations, classifications and equipment ratings.
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop deep product/technology expertise across industrial markets.
• Collaborate with sales to understand customer requirements and propose technical solutions.
• Translate customer needs into manufacturable system solutions.
• Configure standard products to meet application requirements.
• Design customized solutions using internal and third‑party technologies.
• Perform engineering calculations to support product selection and recommendations.
• Act as technical contact for customers during sales and implementation.
• Communicate capabilities clearly to technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Create drawings, specs, and training materials.
• Support design, testing, verification, installation and startup activities.
• Troubleshoot field equipment and provide field/phone/e-support.
• Provide product training to customers and sales teams.
• Test and evaluate new/existing equipment against specs.
• Feedback on product performance and customer requirements.
• Participate in design/development of new products and enhancements.
• Coordinate external engineering resources as needed.
• Accompany sales on customer visits and technical presentations.
• Support RFIs/RFQs with technical responses.
• Identify opportunities for future products or applications.
