Professional Recruiting Consultants, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Application Engineer who thrives on solving complex problems at the intersection of engineering, sales and product development. You will serve as the technical expert from concept through field deployment, often in demanding industrial environments.

The role emphasizes hands-on engineering, field support, and clear communication to customers, plant personnel, and business leaders alike.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
5+ years of technical field or applications engineering experience.
Experience in oil & gas, mining, power generation, heavy industrial environments.
Familiarity with sensor technologies and industrial monitoring.
Working knowledge of Modbus, 4-20mA, relay logic, and common protocols.
Understanding hazardous locations and equipment ratings.
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
Ability to translate complex technical information for customers.
Strong technical writing and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

Develop deep expertise in company products, technologies, and applications.
Partner with sales to understand customer requirements and propose solutions.
Translate customer needs into manufacturable system and product solutions.
Configure standard products to meet application-specific requirements.
Design customized solutions using internal and third-party technologies.
Perform engineering calculations and technical analysis for recommendations.
Serve as a primary technical contact throughout sales and implementation.
Communicate product capabilities clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
Create application drawings, specifications, and training materials.
Support system design, testing, verification, installation, and startup.
Troubleshoot equipment in field or remote support scenarios.
Provide training to customers, sales teams, and stakeholders.
Test new and existing equipment against specifications.
Feedback product performance and customer needs to engineering teams.
Participate in design and development of new products and enhancements.
Coordinate outside engineering resources as needed.
Join customer visits and participate in technical presentations.
Support technical responses to RFIs and RFQs.
Identify opportunities for future products and growth.
