Job summary

Arrow Electronics in Maryland is seeking a Field Applications Engineer (FAE) to influence component selection and drive design wins. You will work with customers and sales teams, using your technical leadership to champion ROI and design-in opportunities.

The role requires a 4-year degree (engineering preferred) with 5+ years of related experience, plus knowledge of CRM/BI tools. The position is hybrid (1 day in office, 4 days remote) in Maryland and offers a broad benefits package.

Typically requires a 4-year degree (engineering preferred).
Minimum of 5 years related experience; advanced degree helpful.
Breadth of knowledge of electronic components.

Responsibilities

Spending most of your time in front of customers to influence component selection.
Champion return on engineering investment through technical leadership.
Build and develop relationships with suppliers and customers and manage expectations.
Grow your account base each quarter.
Drive demand creation by maximizing Arrow content on designs and leveraging engineering resources.
Identify solutions to customer design needs and issues.
Monitor performance metrics and adjust actions to hit targets.
Present technical seminars and workshops around supplier lines.
Collaborate with sales on pre- and post-sales activities to promote demand creation.
