The company seeks an Electrical Application Engineer to join a cross-functional team interfacing with customers, sales, product development, and field operations. You will apply strong electrical knowledge to design, simulate, and implement practical solutions for demanding industrial environments.

You will travel to sites, collaborate with engineers and plant personnel, and help bring new products to customers with robust support and clear technical communication.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of technical field, applications engineering, or similar hands-on experience.
• Experience in oil & gas, mining, power generation, or heavy industry.
• Familiarity with sensor technologies, industrial monitoring, electronics, and network communications.
• Knowledge of Modbus, 4–20mA, relay logic, and other industrial protocols.
• Understanding of hazardous locations and equipment ratings.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Ability to translate complex tech information for non-technical audiences.
• Strong technical writing and documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Develop deep expertise in the company's products and applications across industrial markets.
• Partner with sales to understand customer requirements and propose the right technical solution.
• Translate customer needs into manufacturable system and product solutions.
• Configure standard products to meet application-specific requirements.
• Design customized solutions incorporating internal products and third-party technologies.
• Perform engineering calculations and technical analysis to support product recommendations.
• Serve as a primary technical contact for customers during sales and implementation.
• Communicate product capabilities and system functionality to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Create application drawings, technical documentation, specifications, and training materials.
• Support system design, testing, installation, and startup activities.
• Troubleshoot equipment and systems in the field and via remote support.
• Provide training to customers, sales teams, and other stakeholders.
• Test new and existing equipment against specs.
• Feedback to engineering teams on product performance and field issues.
• Participate in design and development of new products and enhancements.
• Coordinate outside engineering resources when needed.
• Join customer visits and technical presentations.
