Job summary
Top Echelon Software, LLC. is seeking an Electrical Application Engineer to bridge engineering, sales, product development and customers in demanding industrial settings. You’ll act as the technical expert from concept through installation and ongoing support.
The role emphasizes strong electrical knowledge, problem solving, and clear communication with engineers, plant personnel, and business leaders. Travel to customer sites is expected.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering.
- 5+ years of technical field or applications engineering experience.
- Experience in oil & gas, mining, power generation or similar environments.
Responsibilities
- Develop deep expertise in company products and applications across industrial markets.
- Partner with sales to understand customer requirements and propose technical solutions.
- Translate customer needs into manufacturable system and product solutions.
- Configure standard products to meet application requirements.
- Design customized solutions using internal and third‑party technologies.
- Perform engineering calculations to support product recommendations.
- Serve as primary technical contact for customers throughout sales and implementation.
- Create application drawings, specifications, and training materials.
- Support design, testing, installation, commissioning, and startup activities.
- Test equipment and provide feedback on product performance.
