Job summary

Meridian Bioscience Inc. in Chicago seeks a Field Support Specialist I to provide formal technical training and implementation support for Meridian's molecular platforms within the territory.

You will answer questions, demonstrate products at labs, assist with software upgrades, and support immunoassay lines as needed. Candidate must reside in the Chicago metro area and be willing to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field is required.
• MT or MLS ASCP certification is required.
• 4–5 years' experience in customer support or instrumentation.
• Ability to travel up to 80%.
• Must reside in the assigned territory (Chicago metro).

Responsibilities

• Deliver product training to customers on equipment use.
• Coordinate installations with field teams and customer sites.
• Provide post-training support and follow-up to ensure successful go-lives.
• Answer technical questions from customers, sales team, and distributors.
• Perform software upgrades and document activities.
• Travel up to 80% as needed.
