Job summary

Larson Davis, a PCB Division, seeks a Sales Engineer to drive revenue across the Eastern United States. This role may be remote within the territory with travel 50-75% and a hybrid Cincinnati office option when not traveling.

You will cultivate long‑term relationships, demonstrate equipment, and present quotes while coordinating with Marketing, Engineering and New Product Development to meet business goals and enhance total customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent specialized training.
• 1–3 years of practice, training and/or experience in dynamic instrumentation or acoustics.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Travel willingness 50–75% in territory.

Responsibilities

• Develops and grows profitable top line results in the assigned territory.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time for customer visits, sales meetings and trade shows.
• Generates new business leads, follows up on marketing campaigns and sets up qualified appointments with prospects.
• Schedules visits with customers and new prospects in the assigned territory.
• Performs demonstrations of equipment and trains customers on proper use, including installations when necessary.
• Develops forecast and sales plan for the territory.
• Attends training in company sales procedures and trade shows, seminars and conferences as required.
• Provides quotes and follow-up on quotes and leads in a timely manner.
• Acts as liaison between customers and factory by communicating inputs to Marketing, Engineering and NPD.
