Job summary

Waveguide LLC, part of Compass Group USA, seeks an Associate Acoustic Consultant to support project delivery remotely with occasional site travel. The role emphasizes acoustical reports, measurements, and coordination across disciplines.

The ideal candidate has a technical degree in acoustics or engineering, hands-on instrumentation experience, and strong communication skills. 80% remote work is anticipated with limited travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant technical field (engineering or science with acoustics focus).
Hands-on experience with acoustic instrumentation and measurements.
Familiar with reading/ interpreting architectural, MEP and acoustics drawings.

Responsibilities

Assist project teams in delivery of defined tasks including acoustic reports, reviews, and communications.
Support project documentation, status tracking, and issue logging.
Conduct acoustical measurements (environmental noise, background noise, reverberation).
Participate in design coordination meetings and cross-discipline reviews.
Document field conditions during site visits and QA reviews.
