Apex Electronics Talent is seeking a highly motivated Field Applications Engineer to join our Western region team. This fully remote role supports customers in California, Arizona, and Nevada, delivering technical expertise and interconnect solutions to drive revenue.

Responsibilities include generating orders in the West, understanding customer needs, developing accounts, and applying strong communication to advance sales.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of technical customer support experience.
• 3+ years of direct industry experience selling electronic components for medical devices or industrial markets.
• Willingness to travel up to 40%.

Compensation: Base $95K-$105K + bonus + benefits

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate revenue by soliciting and acquiring orders within the West Region territory.
• Collaborate with existing and prospective customers at the engineering level to understand their technical needs and provide fitting interconnect solutions.
• Develop accounts to bolster the sales team's efforts and ensure full exploration of new business opportunities.
• Drive sales growth in specified accounts and territories to meet assigned sales goals.
• Leverage strong communication skills to advance sales initiatives.
• Assist in identifying additional order opportunities within defined accounts.
• Enhance technical expertise on products and applications to optimize sales efforts.
• Communicate sales opportunities and offer technical support as necessary.
• Participate in industry trade events as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in providing technical customer support.
• At least 3 years of direct industry experience in selling electronic components for medical devices or industrial markets.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time.
• Exceptional communication skills with a structured, self-motivated approach.
• Position is fully remote; candidates must reside in CA (preferred), AZ, or NV.
