Job summary

Phoenix Contact is seeking a Field Application Engineer to provide technical, hands-on expertise across the automation, control and networking portfolio in the US. You will partner with regional sales teams and customers to tailor solutions and expand market penetration.

The role requires strong communication, collaboration, and the ability to travel to customer sites, delivering demonstrations and driving sales growth for the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree, technical discipline preferred.
• 3+ years of sales/marketing experience with automation and control products.
• Ability to work independently from a home office with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Increase annual sales revenue across automation, control and networking portfolio.
• Collaborate with local sales teams and conduct trainings and mutual action plans.
• Provide technical representation and support for power-related matters.
• Develop and deliver product demonstrations and sales tools.
• Maintain CRM with accurate client information and reporting.
• Travel as required within assigned territory (up to 40%+).
