Job summary

CSC ServiceWorks is seeking an Appliance Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial laundry and related appliances across customer sites. You will work Monday through Friday in assigned regions, combining independent field work with strong customer communication.

The ideal candidate has solid mechanical aptitude, experience in appliance repair, and the ability to lift heavy equipment; safety and documentation are integral to daily duties.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening.
• Basic plumbing and electrical knowledge.
• Previous appliance repair experience preferred.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to handle heavy appliances.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.

Responsibilities

• Service and diagnose repairs of washers, dryers, and air‑vending machines.
• Perform maintenance and preventative services to extend appliance life.
• Provide professional customer service and explanations during repairs.
• Document service calls, repairs, parts used, and observations.
• Monitor and manage parts inventory to ensure availability for jobs.
• Adhere to safety protocols and protect customer property during service.
