CSC ServiceWorks is seeking an in-field Appliance Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain washers, dryers, and air-vending machines at customer locations. Work independently with a strong mechanical aptitude, following safety standards and manufacturer guidelines. The role runs Monday through Friday with paid training and year-round work.

A valid driver's license and physical stamina to lift up to 75 pounds are required, along with basic computer skills for documentation and communication.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License required.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening.
• Basic plumbing and electrical knowledge beneficial.
• Previous appliance repair experience preferred.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time.
• Must lift up to 75 pounds and work in varied environments.
• Basic computer skills for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Service and Repair: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair appliances such as washers, dryers, and air-vending machines. Ensure repairs follow manufacturer guidelines and safety standards.
• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and preventative services to extend lifespan and performance.
• Customer Service: Interact with customers professionally and provide accurate information on repairs and maintenance.
• Documentation: Keep detailed records of service calls, repairs, parts used, and update internal databases.
• Parts and Inventory Management: Monitor inventory and order parts as needed to ensure availability.
• Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols when working with electrical systems and appliances.
