CSC ServiceWorks is seeking an Appliance Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain washers, dryers, and related machines across customer sites in the Peoria area. This role emphasizes independent work, strong mechanical skills, and dependable field performance.

The position operates Monday through Friday with a focus on safety, quality repairs, and clear documentation. Benefits include health coverage contributions, paid training, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Basic plumbing and electrical knowledge preferred.
• Experience with appliance repair or related field preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills required.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills for customer interactions.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair appliances incl. washers, dryers, and air-vending machines following manufacturer guidelines and safety standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and preventative service to extend appliance lifespan.
• Interact with customers professionally and provide accurate repair/process information.
• Maintain detailed service reports and update internal systems with parts used and work performed.
• Monitor inventory levels of spare parts and tools and order needed items.
• Adhere to all safety protocols while working with electrical systems and appliances.
