CSC ServiceWorks is seeking an Appliance Service Technician to service washers and dryers in Laurel, Greenbelt and Silver Spring. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining appliances at customer sites within the assigned region.

The ideal candidate will be mechanically skilled, able to work independently, and deliver excellent customer service while documenting service calls and managing parts inventory. Training and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License required.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening.
• Basic plumbing and electrical knowledge helpful.
• Previous appliance repair experience preferred.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Basic computer skills for documenting service calls.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair appliances (washing machines, dryers, air-vending) per manufacturer guidelines.
• Perform routine maintenance to extend appliance lifespan.
• Provide professional customer service and clear explanations of repairs.
• Maintain service reports and update internal records.
• Monitor parts inventory and order as needed for efficient repairs.
• Follow safety protocols to protect people and property.
