Job summary

BSH Home Appliances Corporation in Redmond, WA seeks a hands-on Home Appliance Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and service Bosch, Gaggenau, and Thermador appliances in customers' homes. You will travel within the region, use B-apps for documentation, and ensure first-time resolution with safety and professionalism.

A High School diploma or GED and 3–5 years of repair experience are preferred; you must be organized, customer-focused, lift 50 lbs, hold a valid license, and work

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3–5 years’ appliance repair experience or transferrable trades experience.
• Organized and able to complete multiple service calls daily while delivering high levels of customer service.
• Provide updates and progress to manager on service requests.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills; proficient in basic math.
• Customer-first mindset with professional communication and written skills.
• Able to explain repairs to customers clearly.
• Self-starter; capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Able to maintain a company-provided vehicle.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Able to lift 50 pounds or more.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customers’ homes to diagnose and repair major gas and electric appliances to ensure effective repair and first-time resolution within an agreed region.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and rectify as required.
• Communicate clearly with customers and provide a positive service experience.
• Advise customers on correct operation of products and how to use appliances properly.
• Offer solutions by suggesting accessories, service plans, maintenance plans, etc. Training provided.
• Maintain an up-to-date van stock of parts per stock lists and safeguard parts.
• Utilize B-apps (B-tooling, B-fixing, B-informing) for paperwork and documentation.
• Ensure every job is completed with care, professionalism and safety.
