Brinks Home is seeking an Alarm Service Technician in Orlando, FL to install, service, and inspect low-voltage security equipment at customer sites. The role emphasizes safety, customer service, and reliable on-site problem solving.

You will handle site visits, learn the latest alarm panels (2GIG, Qolsys, Ademco, GE, DSC, DMP), and educate customers on system operation, while maintaining a clean, professional work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with alarm panels (2GIG, Qolsys, Ademco, GE, DSC, DMP, etc.)
• Ability to troubleshoot technical problems on-site
• Comfort replacing system components and devices
• Willingness to drive to customer homes (carry up to 30 lbs)
• Customer education and system demonstrations
• Site walkthroughs to ensure needs are met
• Install and test equipment to verify function and signaling

Responsibilities

• Visit customer sites to install, service, and inspect security equipment
• Troubleshoot and resolve alarm system issues
• Replace components and peripheral devices as needed
• Drive to customer homes and perform duties safely (up to 30 lbs)
• Provide customer education and product demonstrations
• Conduct site walkthroughs to review work orders and ensure satisfaction
• Test operations and verify signals for service readiness
• Suggest improvements to enhance system functionality
• Maintain safety standards and tidy workspaces
