Job summary

Brinks Home is seeking a dedicated Alarm Service Technician to install, service, and inspect low-voltage security systems at customer sites. You will travel within our service area, troubleshoot issues, train customers, and ensure safety and satisfaction on every visit.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and experience with alarm systems. NICET I and a valid low-voltage license are preferred; a competitive base salary plus benefits applies.

Qualifications

H.S. Diploma or GED required.
Good driving record and valid driver's license.
Excellent customer service skills.
Working knowledge of how an alarm system operates.
Climbing ladders and working at heights.
Working in crawlspaces, attics and basements.
Low-voltage license or alarm installation certification.
NICET I.

Responsibilities

Install, service, and inspect low-voltage electronic security equipment at customer sites.
Visit customer homes to perform service and drive-between sites.
Troubleshoot technical problems and replace system components as assigned.
Provide customer education and system demonstrations.
Conduct site evaluations to ensure the system meets customer needs and expectations.
Test equipment and verify signals to establish service.
